JHB Studio is an architectural design practice based in Los Angeles, a creative studio that embraces art, culture, and technology to inform new ways of making buildings, interiors, objects, and landscapes. The work explores form, figuration, and the sensory qualities of materials and details to shape spatial experiences. From transforming homes to developing ideas through speculative projects, the practice moves between the built and the visual, treating design as a practice of both precision and play.

Jackilin Hah Bloom teaches design studios and visual studies seminars at SCI-Arc, where she also serves as the Graduate Thesis Coordinator. She has held visiting professorships at Princeton, Yale, Ohio State, and Syracuse and holds architecture degrees from UCLA (M.Arch) and USC (B.Arch). She recently co-founded Common Table Collaborative, a partnership with visual artist Michele Asselin to create site-specific, community-based public artworks.
